On Thursday 30th August 2012, I was invited to deliver a keynote presentation at a monthly seminar called ‘Raise Your Game’-mastermind group. I was excited but not shocked by my invite because as a keynote speaker my presentations on distinction and excellence are in high demand. As the Olympics 2012 games had just finished I was asked to use a theme which was in line with the games so I decided to use Usain Bolt as a ‘template’ titling my presentation, ‘Can you see you vision of excellence? How to become an entrepreneur of distinction’.™ Using Usain Bolt as a ‘template’ wasn’t hard because Usain is a man of distinction and coupled with my proven principles; I knew it would be an historic, destiny changing and vision enhancing presentation.
The six principles I decided to speak on which I believe make up an entrepreneur of distinction included vision, excellence and determination. During my presentation it was obvious that the attendees had never heard a simple and effective but strategic and excellent presentation and I was encouraged by the readiness and willingness of all attendees to listen and learn. Many if not all attendees had been to different seminars and heard various speakers but I could tell that everything they were hearing was new and unique to the night.
The seminar was an all round excellent night which was capped by me signing copies of my products which were available on the night namely, Hitting The Target: A 12 Month Guide To Distinction (MP3/CD) and my second book The Doorway To Distinction: 200 Quotes To Inspire You To Reach New Levels Of Excellence. Afterwards many of the attendees hung around and asked me questions. The atmosphere was electric and I and many others could tell this wasn’t an ordinary event but an historic one.
It has been more than three weeks since the seminar and I am ‘over the moon’ by the testimonials, written and recorded which have been passed on to me. I realised that from this event many people saw and were part of the domino effect called distinction and with this they had two choices; ignore and remain exhausted or recognise and rise to excellence.
